In order to do the acting you know you can do, you need to get the job! increase your chances by keeping you audition skills in shape by working out every week.

Learn how to set yourself up emotionally and physically for the camera. Learn the skills and keep in practice! Find out what you need to do to feel that you have done the best audition possible every time and increase your chances of booking the jobs!

Material used in this class is current, up to the minute TV or Film sides specifically selected for each actor - for their age and 'type' or to stretch and challenge. Gain experience with different genres, learn how to meet character demands and emotional challenges that you might face in your next audition.

Every actor works every week on new audition material which they prepare 'as if' it was a real audition. Max 12 - 14 actors

NEW!! **The Organic Approach to layering a performance:
Now 2 days - Sunday & Sunday from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm to be held in July 2012  (12 hour intensive)
In this special two day intensive the participants will experience exercises developed to explore layers in performance. The exercises will open up emotional channels allowing organic discoveries to be made and incorporated into performance material. Participants need to come prepared with a monologue of their choosing and a scene will be assigned.

This workshop is designed by Bernadette and draws from her many explorations into what makes great acting. As Richard Harris once said: "Great acting isn't safe, it should be shattering." The exercises in this workshop will include group and individual work. This workshop is for those who know that acting solely from the head (analytical intellect) - is unsatisfactory. The goal will be finding and allowing triggers to places in the body that resonate with true emotion life. And also to trust that if a performance is coming from interior places in the body, every take will be fresh and exciting. This aspect of trusting your instincts, allowing your body to feel where the emotion is placed and have free access to it for your work is all important for film and television performance. When the mind, body and emotion life are connected - every moment is 'right' and every take you do is never exactly the same - but will always be 'true'.
