Frequently Asked Questions

1. How many people in the classes?

Usually there is a maximum of 12 students accepted into each class (depending on the number of hours per class). Each participant will work in every class if they are prepared.

2. Are there any prerequisites for attending classes?

It is recommended that you read MICHAEL SHURTLEFF’s book AUDITION. You can order it from Theatrebooks in Toronto www.theatrebooks.com as well as other leading bookstores and AMAZON.

3. How much experience do I have to have to take classes?

These classes are not for the beginning actor. If you have studied acting or worked in the business or been a performer for two or more years, you will likely qualify. You must send a picture and resume with your application. Acceptance is at the discretion of the instructor.

4. What if I have to cancel before the start of a class?

A refund is possible, if you withdraw 2 weeks prior to the start of the class. However, a $50.00 administration fee will be charged.

If you decide to withdraw from the class less than 2 weeks prior to the start date, you will get a refund (less $100.00), only  if another suitable actor is available to take your place.
